Elizabeth Filippouli is a journalist, writer and social entrepreneur.
She is the Founder of Global Thinkers Forum, a non-profit platform incubated at Oxford’s Said Business School in 2011 with a mission to promote accountability in leadership through a family of initiatives convening thinkers and decision makers, and to support the economic integration of youth and women through mentoring programmes.
With a longstanding passion for creative thinking, she brings to life artistic projects that raise awareness on contemporary issues and challenge established ideas. Her play ‘Alexander the Great-Between Dreams and Imagination’ was produced for the British Library in London in February 2023.

Her book 'From Women to the World: Letters for a New Century' published by Bloomsbury UK in 2021, brings together the diverse narratives of women activists, artists and professionals from nineteen countries.

Over her prolific career in journalism, she worked with Al Jazeera English, CNN International and Greek media and has served as advisor to international companies such as Coca Cola 3E, Athens Olympics Committee, World Economic Forum, Camelot UK, AG Leventis.

Her studies include MA in Journalism (London City University), EMBA Strategy & Innovation (Said Business School University of Oxford), ALM in Creative Writing (Harvard Extension School), Executive Diploma Shaping Change in the Information Age (Harvard Kennedy School of Government).
She is an Aspen Institute UK Fellow, and a member of the Society of Authors in the UK, the Dramatist's Guild in the US, the London Press Club and the London Foreign Press Association.
